Every question on this network comes from reading real CAPS exam papers. Here is what those papers actually ask, and how to practise for them.
How a primary school paper is built
Most papers run to between 40 and 60 marks and are written in about an hour. They open with short recall questions, move to application, and close with one or two longer questions that carry several marks each.
Three question forms come up again and again: multiple choice, true or false, and matching column A to column B. A child who has only ever practised one form meets the others for the first time in the exam itself.
