Grade 7 measures and constructs angles with a protractor and compass, classifies triangles and quadrilaterals, and performs translations, reflections and rotations. In the Department of Basic Education’s teaching plan, Grade 7 geometry is taught in Term 3. It comes up in the Grade 7 maths Term 3 test, and again in the final Term 4 exam, which covers all four terms.
