Grade 7 compares quantities with ratio and rate and shares an amount in a given ratio. In the Department of Basic Education’s teaching plan, Grade 7 ratio is taught in Term 1. It comes up in the Grade 7 maths Term 1 test, and again in the final Term 4 exam, which covers all four terms.
