Grade 4 compares and orders fractions from halves to eighths, adds fractions with the same denominator, and finds a fraction of a quantity through sharing and grouping. In the Department of Basic Education’s teaching plan, Grade 4 fractions are taught in Term 3. It is tested in the Grade 4 maths Term 3 test and the final Term 4 exam.
